The Animal Kingdom

The Animal Kingdom consists of multicellular organisms which are divided into groups called “Phyla”. Each of these phyla  have particular properties that make the one phylum different froman other. A few common phyla are: Cnidaria (jellyfish), Chordata (vertebrates), and Porifera (salt water sponges). To make classification easier, they are divided into two main groups: vertebrates, and invertebrates decided on whether they have an endoskeleton, which is also known as a spinal column. Invertebrates (don’t have an endoskeleton) make up over 90% of the worlds animals, and are mainly found in water Sponges, etc). Vertebrates, on the other hand, have just over 85,000 species. This includes humans, lions, etc. Unfortunately, if you look above invertebra make up over 90% of the world's animals. This means that vertebra don’t even make up 10% of the world's population. This kingdom consists mainly of Heterotrophs, which are organisms that depend on other life organisms for food. Animals are all multicellular and eukaryotic.
