The 5 Kingdoms

 

In the 7 basic taxonomic ranks, kingdom is the highest. There are 5 kingdoms, which are animal, plant, protist, monera and fungi. Each serve crucial purposes in an ecosystem. Each kingdom share of have unique properties like how they reproduce or how many cells they consist of. For example, animals are multicellular (more than one cell) and monerans are unicellular (only one cell).
